Hello Fangirls and Fanboys!

My interwebs was in jeopardy the last few weeks but as of this week I’m back to my normal blogging, fangirling self! So let’s play catch up and learn some new things shall we?

This post is coming at you in multiple parts so you can jump around at your leisure!

True Blood!
So Sunday night was the season 2 premiere of the most awesomest vampire show on TV, True Blood! If you aren’t familiar with it it’s based on the best selling Sookie Stackhouse series written by the marvelous Charalaine Harris. It’s all about this girl named Sookie and her encounters with the supes (supernatural beings) in her tiny Louisiana town of Bon Temps. It’s a really great show and I have sung it’s prasies over and over. I will not spoil last Sunday’s episode but if you are a die hard fan of the books you know there are some out of wack things happening, but it’s really good! It’s not to late to hop aboard the True Blood train. Season One is now on DVD and Episode 2 comes on this Sunday at 10/9c/.

The Peter Facinelli Twitter Bet
PRICELESSFORPETER

So if you are on Twitter and follow Peter Facinelli or the much envied by Twilighter/Twi-Hards. Rob De Franco you are aware of the bet going on. The bet is for either Peter or Rob to get 500k followers by this Friday. If Peter wins, Rob has to dress in a bikini, sing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”, and video it. The best part of that deal is that he’s going to film it and be on Hollywood Blvd doing it!! If Rob wins, however, Peter has to give him his New Moon Director’s chair. It’s been a close race and right now Peter is having difficulties with Twitter. But as of today Peter has announced that if his followers get him to the 500k mark he will give the person who has been doing the most promoting the back of his directors chair. But that’s only if he wins! So go and follow Peter! Just click on his name above and it will direct you to his Twitter!!!

Rob’s Unfortunate Mugging

I will not post the sad video, but I’m sure my Robsessed readers know all about. On either Monday or Tuesday poor Robert was attacked by crazed fans in NYC while walking down the street. Now I’m Robsessed, but I would NEVER do what these girls did to poor Rob. There is a line that is drawn and fans may not cross it, but these girls were like: “What line? Ooo ROB! Must attack!!” It was awful and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob quit and disappeared for awhile. I mean he must be getting some good royalty money from Twilight and Harry Potter, surely he can survive until the crazies die down and go back to Zac Effron. Point is be a respectful fan. How would you like it if someone did that to you?

The Guild

Yeah I just wanted to promote even more the awesome webseries, The Guild. I realized in my previous post that I haven’t covered it yet. It’s an awesome series that stars the very beautiful and talented Felicia Day and is about this online roleplaying guild. To watch it go to: www.watchtheguild.com Each episode is like 5 to 7 minutes long and there are already two seasons up and can be purchased on DVD on the site. They’re currently working on Season Three at the moment.

Shameless Hype

Okay so my lovely friend Jen, the lovely creator of my banner, has created a blog that is designed so that she, me, and one other (I forgot her name! Sorry!!!) Could get together and go all Twilighter fangirl on and you the reader can put your two cents in and what not. It’s really cool and kinda reminds me of the Twilight-Headed crew. If you wanna check it out it’s called A Cullen at Heart. There are only two posts up by Jen right now but will soon be filled with Twilighty goodness!

Jonas Brothers!

Yesterday was the release of the Jonas Brothers new album Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. I have yet to get my copy, but my dear friend and accomplice, Chelsea, got it. She told me it’s a very mature album and sounds really good and different from they’re other stuff. I’ve only heard two songs from the album: their single “Paranoid” and a song called “Poison Ivy” I really like “Poison Ivy” a lot and is so far my fave out of the two. But tomorrow when Chels lets me hear the whole album that might change.

I think that’s about it for now. I can’t think of anything else right now. But you know I will either Twitter about it or post it on here so look out!! lol

Until laters!

5/18: Dane Cook- Why have you disappointed me?

Posted in Comedy Central, Dane Cook, Disapointed on May 18, 2009 by Lydia

So last night was the premire of Dane Cook’s much anticipated new special on Comedy Central, ISolated INcident. I, as I’m sure others as well, was really looking forward to this special for a VERY long time. So I make myself some Ramen, since I haven’t eaten all day yet, park myself in front of my computer, I sure wasn’t going to miss out and NOT tweet about this, and the TV, and get ready for the commerical free Dane experience.

I will not spoil the jokes for the ones who have not seen it yet, but let me tell you how funny each bit was and then you can tell me how accuratly you laughed at them.

1st bit: meh
2nd bit: depressing
3rd bit (and I spoil a bit): Suicide is actually funny
Rest of the show until the obligtory sex part: You’d get a few giggles and that’s it.
Sex part and the rest of the show: Funny

If you saw the show and don’t agree with me, to each his own my dear reader, to each his own. If not go watch it and judge for yourself.

The highlight of all this Dane mayhem is the picture that he posted on Twitpic of him self in Entertainment Weekly. Warning: Some ladies and some gay guys will get more out of this pic than the rest of you.

So all in all the show was a meh from me and a bit disappointing.

In other Fangirl news, I promise I will get my review of Star Trek up here some time this week. I know it’s been out for going on two weeks and I should get it up soon before it’s too late. Plus I’ve seen it twice, so you know I have some postive things about it. Also this marks the end of my hiatus on here. I think I have all of my personal drama sorted out for now, but who knows. Life is full of surprises right?

Oh and those who are interested in my other blog there is a late night rambling that was a result of insommnia up on there if you care to read.

Until next time,
